Refund Policy

For Candidate

Possible financial transactions between PlacementBee and the candidate is listed below along with the refund policy for each type of transaction

  • Sponsor your name: In this section the candidate makes certain payments to PlacementBee in return of some services for a period of time. The nature of services and the duration for which such services will be available is clearly mentioned in the site. However, if a candidate feels after availing of Sponsor your name services, that the services offered are not satisfactory, the candidate has the right to cancel the subscription and seek refund, subject to the following conditions:

    • The refund amount will be calculated after deducting the charges for the number of days the service has been availed. For example, if a service is priced at Rs.1000/- for 3 months and the candidate wishes to cancel the service after 1 month then the refund amount will be calculated as 1000X2/3.
    • A transaction charge of Rs. 50/- will be applicable on every refund request
    • No refund request will be entertained if the candidate issues the request after availing of the services for 75% or more of the total duration for which the purchase was made.

  • Practice interview with an expert: In this section, the candidate books an interview session with an expert for practice and self-improvement. The refund policy, based on the time of cancellation, is indicated below:

    • Before 48 hours from the scheduled time of interview – Complete refund, no deductions.
    • Within 48 hours and 24 hours from the scheduled time of interview – 50% refund.
    • Less than 24 hours before the scheduled time of interview – No refund.

  • Video Resume Services: In this section the candidate avails of the service where we prepare a detailed video resume on behalf of the candidate based on inputs, footages, texts and documents provided by the candidate. A version with watermark, is made available to the candidate to review and submit any required changes and once a version is accepted, we provide the video without watermark. In case the video fails to satisfy the candidate for reasons which are attributable (in whole or in part) to us, the following mechanism will commence:

    • The candidate must inform in writing the reasons for dis-satisfaction with the product
    • We will review the request and provide a plan to remedy the product within 48 hours of receiving such notification.
    • If the revised plan is also not acceptable to the candidate, the refund request may be initiated.
    • We will refund the entire amount if the reasons for dis-satisfaction is found to be valid.
    • However, we reserve the right to refuse to provide a refund in a number of given situations, including but not limited to, where there is no sufficient reasoning or where the reasons are not valid.

For Companies

Companies may seek refund on the purchase of a candidate’s profile in the following situations:

  • The details provided by PlacementBee is factually wrong and a mis-match with the profile that has been purchased. Such discrepancy, whenever brought to our notice, will entitle the buyer to 100% refund for that product.

  • PlacementBee does not provide all the information and services as committed during the purchase. Non-performance on the part of PlacementBee will also entitle the buyer to 100% refund for that product.

  • No communication can be established with the candidate by PlacementBee or the Company.

General Notes:

The following conditions are applicable for all refund requests:

  1. All refund will be done to the account used for the purchase within 15 days of acceptance of the refund request.

  2. Refund request may be raised through the section “Request Refund”. Appropriate details must be provided.
